Nearly been a year since I last posted, Christmas of last year if I remember correctly. I don't know why, but I've been feeling like I just don't have enough time to do everything that I want to do online when I sit down on my computer. So in a fit of curiosity I started writing down websites where I have a login, all the necessary info like screen names and passwords and associated email addresses. Results? Had a nice shock to see how many accounts that I juggle when I log in, and perhaps it's high time I start closing some of them down or at least be a bit more efficient when it comes to checking them all. Heck, found some that I had completely forgotten about, it'll be fun going through those sites and seeing why I registered with them in the first place. I also decided that I want to do something with this journal, perhaps fic review or something since I still read it avidly. May as well share what I liked and didn't like about them, right? More for later.

The second half to chapter three isn't doing too badly, I'm on a roll and don't want to stop until I've hit at least 1000 words or 3am, whichever happens first. Unfortunately I have to work, else I'd just stay up until I hit 1500 words if it was being particularly stubborn. I might actually get decently far on this groove if I can keep the muse distracted with half-naked photos of her favorite candy bars...*whistles innocently*

The first half of Chapter 3 is written, just needs to be tweaked, and then re-tweaked. It's a chubby piece of work, sitting in at 4200 words or so, but hey, I'm sure I can slim it down considerably without losing too much from it. Hopefully...but hey in the mean time I can work on part 2 to chapter 3. :D

Finally! After months of silence, I've managed to make some real progress on the third chapter for Forgotten. The unanticipated roommate moved out and not more than a month later I'm back to writing something that's workable and I'm a scene away from the halfway mark for chapter 3. Hopefully, I'll have done enough in the writing process to give me room to adjust and add and remove things to bring it up to snuff. *beams*

I think this will be the last chapter for this story for me, then I'll be free to refocus on Forgotten and possibly put in an epilogue for Voices. I keep seeing Lionel and hot-pants and phone discipline...poor Dominic.

Gah I feel like such a slacker...I've been staring at the most horrible writer's block ever! It stalks me, I swear it! I've gone so far as to trying pen and paper, writing while watchin tv, writing while I soak in the tub...nothin'. Absofreakinlutly nothin...
It's not that I don't know what I want to write either, I can visualize the scene, I can 'see' the emotions that I want to convey, but damn-it-all I'm having a hell of a time trying to express it verbally/written. I don't have a problem using sign language to express it, sign is great conveying how someone feels and reacts. I just suck trying to say it.
Maybe I'll just plow through that section and just write the rest of it and go back to fix it...maybe.

Dang I feel tired! I haven't really had a chance to play online for nearly a month and I've been running myself stupid trying to catch up on all the fics that have managed to slip through the cracks.
Found an old challenge that I thought I'd like to try out when I get the opportunity:
Pg 123, sentence 5 of the nearest book at hand...
Which yields some very interesting imagery that I could possibly work very well into a fic: "And the silver-haired, wizened, ebony man behind the counter had responded to her hesitant self-introduction as if she had been a long-absent relative, locking the shop-door, pulling down the shade that said Closed and ushering her into his own sitting room in the apartment behind the shop."

Chapter 2 is coming along nicely at a healthy 3400 words. The characters know their cues, lines, and roles and all is going great! *Hums* Even have a touch of Lex abuse! How could you go wrong with that? LOL
